Things were not going to plan for Seon and his handler Wylde despite having only three legs, the lilac tokota was more than capable to be able to hunt down prey but this trip was just horrendous as not a single caribou was spotted in the area, however Seon reckoned he had spotted a pack of wolves that were also after their meal, the animals they had planned to take down today were going to be their meals for the next few days as the duo were out in the wilderness for a multiple day trip around the Innia Turik Overlook area that was said to be having a bountiful load of prey being gathered from there but unfortunately for the duo it just wasn't going to be happening as not even a single scent of caribou or their tracks in the snow it was as almost they were never here ever which was very mysterious despite many prey animals around here and the wild tokotas that came here to hunt from Kesuk Bay kit just seemed off to the tokota and handler, roaming around the hunting area here they were determined that they would be able to find just what they were looking for or even just a hint or trail would satisfy the two of them, at this rate it was almost like they were being teased as the duo would here one noise and would get their hopes up for a second only to learn that it was just a bird or other creature that they weren't exactly looking forward to seeing. This one problem could jeopardise their whole exploration as their food was already at a shortage if this kept up they may have to just return home empty-handed and disappointed which is what Seon did not want to happen as he would be gutted that they came out all this way for nothing in return for all the hours they trekked, Wylde would also be a bit brought down as the weather was set to be nice these days as well as the planning and effort that they put into this might go all to waste if they don't find a meal in the next hour or so not wanting to use up all of their daylight as they were behind schedule already. It was going to be a sure challenge as the duo were exhausted and the Inna Turik Overlook can be a challenge to navigate around if one is not too familiar to their surroundings, in this situation they may have to go into uncharted territories rebelling against their neatly folded map that Wylde had kept concealed in one of his bags to make sure it wouldn't get lost or otherwise that would cause quite a dilemma for the two of them as if they lost it around dhere they might have lost it to a wolf pack that enjoys lurking atound the outlook area in search of the caribou as well for their own meals but both tokota and handler knew that they were not the reasoning behind the lack of prey as the group of wolves were way too small to take down that many caribous in such a small amount time as they had found the hunting grounds thanks to the help of another tokota and who came the other direction with a load of pelts splayed across the toko's back telling them how well the season was at the Innia Turik Overlook, everything had just seemed off to day and even the atmosphere around the hunting grounds seem too eeiry for Seon's liking. They prayed to Nagruk for a plentiful hunt but so far it had just seemed like the hunting god was ignoring their wishes.

The duo was not even close to giving up, wandering around, even more, they were certain that those wolves were popping up from nowhere which the lilac tokota was not a big fan of in case they were hostile towards him and his handler as despite their ability to run away the wolves were probably going to be able to catch them as the toko was limited down a leg which often led him to run away now before it's too late. Both were hungry as they could feel the gurgle from their stomachs rumble as they lusted for a nice meal to keep them running for a few more days, the odd occasion they both managed to believe they had saw antlers but as they chased after they had disappeared completely without a single trace which made Seon and Wylde believe they were on the verge of going mad, it would almost haunt their dreams as they were on the brink of exhaustion travelling far and wide whilst running low on food. Everything suddenly began to feel uneasy to both of them as a gust of cold winter wind brushed past the two of them, they saw those antlers again and it was surely must have belonged to one massive caribou or some other creature which made them even more curious about what they belonged to as it seemed like the height of a dire tokota which was slightly concerning and both would definitely not want to face such creature if it was provoked. The wolves were howling across the Inna Turik Overlook concerning the two on what was happening cause they had no such reason to do so and it began to worry Seon as he was cautiously looking around at his surroundings to make sure some creature won't appear out of nowhere and attack, this was a hunting trip from hell surely as things were looking extremely dull and the winter chill was not pleasant for either of them as Wylde shivered slightly. The gust of wind was getting stronger as they kept walking in this direction it was concerning, was it a sign from the gods that it was best to turn around and head home or was it a challenge for them to see if Seon was worthy of their acknowledgement, they still kept pushing ahead as despite their fear they were not going to be quitters, as the force of the wind became stronger they were able to see the wind as it whisked around them was a white dust almost identical to snow but it wasn't just the same as Seon and Wylde just knew something was about to happen. Before they even knew it it died off instantly and left in front of them a familiar figure that they knew exactly who it was which was a pleasant surprise.

Nagruk was the god of hunting as well as the master of caribou so he'd know exactly where all of their much-wanted prey was lurking about, Seon was now able to place together the pieces as the village legends about him and the antlers that they were seeing which made the lilac tokota and Wylde feel slightly better about themselves as it confirmed that they were not going mad just yet. To see a childhood bedtime story in the flesh was spectacular to both handler and tokota as they looked up to Nagruk for help in this challenging hunt and really appreciating that the gods were watching over them with the added bonus of replying, once the duo had finished gawking over the god they watch as behind him lurked the pack of wolves, they knew what was up from their howling prior to the appearance of Nagruk in front of them, slowly they stalked the mythical looking creature looking as though they were going to attack, despite Seon alerting the god of hunting about the wolves he ignored the lilac tokota as the three jet black wolves continued to creep closer which was unsettling for the toko and Wylde unsure what was about to happen. All they could do was watch as hey got closer until they were ready to pounce but they didn't, which confused the two in what was happening, Nagruk already knew they were there perhaps which wouldn't surprise them as many odd events occurred around Inna Turik Overlook. Before they could even process what was happening the wind rushed up again and died like how it did when Nagruk revealed himself to Seon and Wylde, but now the black wolves had gone and were replaced by three lifeless caribous who looked extremely delicious to the travellers as this is what they were looking for but was unsure if the hunting god was teasing them or rewarding the duo, the white as snow tokota form of the god nodded his head in approval towards Seon allowing them to claim the three caribous displaying that the wolves had sacrificed themselves so that the two were able to continue forth on their expedition which they were more than grateful of which they gave their thanks to both Nagruk along with all wolves to honour the three. In a flash Nagruk who stood before them had disappeared leaving behind the caribous that were now going to be their dinner, it was best now to cook them up and eat before they would go off, both would never forget such a legendary encounter as well as those three wolves as they would respect any wolves that they came across.
